An open debate with my girlfriend and whoever else on communism...

So Megan says that in theory that communism is a good idea. I guess it could be. But I would argue that communism promotes laziness in some and frustration in the rest. God has given us the desire to do a hard days work. Its in one of the epistles where it talks about working hard. I am at work and feel I should get back soon so I don' t have too much time to look. This doesn't mean that we should find fulfillment through our jobs, but that we should contribute to society in some way. I suppose everyone contributes to society in some way in communism, but when we all get paid equal amounts is that fair.

Let's say a man named "Crapbag" works at Ford in a communist society building engines. He works 12 hour days. And his friend Princess Consuela Banana-Hammock works at the olive factory putting the reddish middle parts into the olives. This job does not take much skill and is very repetitive. Princess Consuela is usually gets to work around 10 and leaves at about 4 or 5. At the end of every week each gets their paycheck directly deposited into their National Bank of Stalin accounts and the amounts are the xact same. This does not seem quite fair at all. It's just silly to pay people the same amounts of money for doing two different jobs that are at the opposite spectrums of the difficulty scale. ITS MADNESS! Why should crapbag have to slave away while princess banana-hammock can just pop middles into olives and call it a day and get paid the same. It isn't the way God intended in my opinion. If the princess wants a better job ina capitalistic society where she gets paid as much as crapbag she should get more training. I know I will have better thoughts later. Give it time to stew...give me yours!

What is it with women and tiny things?...

Most women love tiny versions of anything. I was reminded of this today when a girl at my work went on about "cute little cucumber sandwiches" she had. This reminded me of being younger and going on vacations with my family. Daniel and I used to tease my mom about how much she loved her mini iron. That's right a mini clothes iron. Not because it did any better of a job, it really isn't even that convenient since any hotel will press your clothes for you. It's almost as if it triggers something in their mind that likens anything mini to a baby so their nurture instinct. I can think of at least one thing you wouldn't want to do to nurture an iron that many women do to nurture a child. Please someone tell me...

So Megan has officially joined the ranks of the MSU dance team. She has always liked dancing, however silly (see daniel's you tube postings). This is pretty much perfect for her. I guess they dance at charity events and stuff. Plus I get a t-shirt that says "I am down with the MSU dance team"!!! I am always in the mood for free t-shirts. So in honor of this and because I have a sister-in-law and her best friend who are obsessed with late 80s/early 90s dance music I have decided to create a post that utilizes song titles from "Pulse" by "various artists" and any others I can think of.

Ever since I asked Megan to "be my lover" I could tell that she was "gonna make me sweat" on the dancefloor. Now "I like to move it" just as much as the next guy but it is usually while I am driving in a car or alone. I did find Megan's obsession with dancing a bit intimidating wondering how much I would have to dance, but I thought, "'Finally', I've been waiting for a girl like her for a while and she had been able to show me 'what is love'". So I went for it. It's not that I am "Mr. Vain" or anything so I can't dance in front of people. I just know I am not good at it so I avoid it.

The first night I danced with Megan to actual club music we were in Windsor and the club we were at really knew how to "pump up the volume"(movie with christian slater and song, double points!). I started busting a move on the dance floor but felt a little silly and was abot to leave. But then Megan said "please don't go" and so I stayed out there and shook my dump trucks. At the beginning of the night I never thought "tonight is the night", but as I stood there waving around my badunka-dunk I smiled and thought, "'What a "beautiful life".

So there you have it Mrs. Frye, my 8th grade english teacher, would be proud. I was able to use proper english in almost that entire post. Until next time...

OK, so my computer at work had some difficulty with cookies so I needed to make a new blog. I already don't like blogspot...

So some interesting stuff happened. Tyler left to head back to Detroit yesterday. So I am the only Livonia-ite holding on in the big aplle that I know of. Here is a compilation of what happened over the past few days that I found interesting.

On the train back to Port Chester last night I sat in front of a couple businessmen (lets call them Rod and Todd) who really thought they were, as Ron Burgundy would say, "the balls". Their conversation went from talking about which strip joints to go to, to Todd's proposal story, then back to how Rod's buddy, Brad Goldstein (changed for protection), loved going to Thailand and the crazy stuff Brad would do with his Bangkok prostitutes. Luckily Brad got it all on tape and had showed it to Rod who was now on my train. So I got to be filled on all the painfully specific details of the kinds of stuff Thai women will do. All this would happen, according to Rod, while Brad's wife is back home in the states...kudos. This is what happens when people make more money than they can spend.

Their talk about strippers I actually found funny. Rod talked about how "Scores" was too expensive and then Todd mentioned that he frequented a strip joint where the girls weren't pretty, but it was cheap. He put it like this, "minimal output, but minimal input." Then Rod commented, "yeah sounds like a high return on investment." It was a this point that I became unable to determine whether or not they were talking about strippers or accounting, but it was still strippers.

Last week at work I received from a rep a Lance Armstrong type bracelet that when you undid the latch revealed that it was a flash plug. It was probably the dorkiest thing ever! NERD ALERT! This is almost as bad as those calculator watches we had when we were kids.
